On behalf of the African Media Initiative (AMI) board and its supporters, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the delegates who attended the African Media Leaders Forum (AMLF) 2012 in Dakar, Senegal.
Your presence and exchanges during the Forum have contributed significantly to the success of this year’s event, which was also the fifth anniversary of AMLF. We are pleased to report that over 400 delegates from the continent and beyond attended this year’s event that started with a public debate on ‘Media and Citizenship’ organised in collaboration with the Council for Development of Social Sciences in Africa (CODESRIA) at the Cheikh Anta Diop University and concluded with a unique two hour exchange with H.E. President Macky Sall moderated by Dr. Mo Ibrahim after a keynote from Dr. Frannie Leautier from the ACBF.
Please feel free to access the various video clips highlighting some of the plenary and breakaway sessions of AMLF 2012 as well as the different presentations of the speakers who made formal submissions.
Once again thank you for a great AMLF 2012 and see in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for AMLF 2013!
